SAMOA REVIEW AND REPEAL THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAND TITLES AND REGISTRATION ACT 2008 (LTRA2008)

31/1/2017

Picture

Target:  PRIME MINISTER OF SAMOA, GOVERNMENT OF SAMOA (HRPP), HEAD OF STATE OF SAMOA

Region:  GLOBAL

Website:
www.facebook.com

In 2008, the Samoan Government passed the Land Titles and Registration Act 2008 (LTRA 2008) without proper consultation and or a referendum to inform the people of Samoa and to seek their views and support. It is a requirement as outlined in The Constitution of Samoa under Articles 102 & 109.

Therefore, the LTRA 2008 is unconstitutional and violates the people’s rights and their Customary Land Rights, as protected under The Constitution.

Samoa Government under the influence and contractual agreements with Global Financial Institutions and Foreign Investors who want access to our Customary Lands for Business and Development Purposes are responsible for the enactment of the LTRA 2008.

In 2009, the Prime Minister was televised in an interview stating that the LTRA 2008 was applicable only to Freehold lands. In addition, the introduction of the Torrens System was implemented in Samoa. The Torrens System is similar to Acts applied in Australia and New Zealand, which alienated the indigenous Aborigines and Maori’s from their Customary Lands. Under the Torrens System, once any customary land(s) is registered it transfers classification from Sovereign Aiga owned (protected under The Constitution) to State owned (Government owned).

Today, the Prime Minister of Samoa is campaigning for the registration of Customary Lands by insisting that the Paramount Chief title holder registers his/her land. This conflicts with customs and culture of Samoa (Fa’a Samoa). Customary Lands are collectively owned by the extended families, which are held in a “trusteeship” to be passed down generation to generation. Customary lands cannot be owned solely by an individual.

As a result, the LTRA 2008 enables the alienation of Samoan people from their Customary Lands. It also allows Customary lands to be transferred to become State owned under a lease or licensing contractual agreement. This is contradictory to what the Samoa Prime Minister stated as televised in 2009. (Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGU41_byR6k )

Samoan’s living in and abroad of Samoa are now in danger of losing their Customary Lands under LTRA2008. These lands will no longer be recognised as “Sovereign” protected under Samoa’s Constitution, once they are registered under a Paramount Chief’s name.

As Samoan’s living in New Zealand, Australia, USA and around the world, we continue to maintain our connections through our ties to our customary lands, matai titles, customs and culture in Samoa. The application of The LTRA 2008 dismantles and destroys all that is precious and treasured to us as Samoans.

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, PETITION PRIME MINISTER OF SAMOA, THE GOVERNMENT OF SAMOA AND THE HEAD OF STATE OF SAMOA, TO REVIEW AND REPEAL THE LAND TITLES AND REGISTRATION ACT 2008. THE ACT VIOLATES OUR PEOPLES RIGHTS UNDER ARTICLE 102 & 109 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF SAMOA. THE CONSTITUTION IS SOVEREIGN, WRITTEN TO HELP PROTECT AND PRESERVE ALL THAT IS PRECIOUS TO US AS SAMOANS, OUR CUSTOMARY LANDS, MATAI TITLES, MATAI SYSTEM, CUSTOMS AND CULTURE.

(PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO SIGN THE PETITION)

H.R.P.P Great Pretenders and Fake Apologies....

PictureH.R.P.P's Corrupt PM Tuilaepa and M.E.S.C MP Loau Keneti Sio

This Education problem did not just start from 2013. It has been there for many years ever since corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP took office.  Since then, they’ve been discussing this problem every year right up to today – and the problem continues to get worse.  I’ve been writing a lot of articles addressing the problems with the Ministry of Education including education failure  for many years. I have also debated this Education problem on social media with corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s uneducated supporters (mostly govt employees) who defended him and denied the problem existed – and of course, Corrupt PM Tuilaepa himself also denied it too.

HRPP has finally admitted that there is a huge problem within the Education dept. Why? Because the problem is stale and they cannot breathe no more as they’re choking on the stench of their own BS excuses and incompetency.

The M.P for Safata West, Lea’ana Ronnie Posini, admitted that there’s a shortage of teachers in his constituency – and only 12 teachers teaching Safata College and primary to educate 500 students? What is corrupt PM Tuilaepa and MP Loau going to do to rectify this problem immediately as those students deserve the Right to a better quality of education too like others? After all, their parents are paying for their school fees.

Well although the M.E.S.C MP Loau admitted that the problem with the  S.S.L.C results was their fault and apologized for it, it still does not rectify the problem but how the heck could M.E.S.C charge the parents $50 for a recount of their children’s wrong results? Why should the parents pay for M.E.S.C’s mistake? This is broad daylight robbery!

I can smell a big stinky rat in this. DID CORRUPT PM TUILAEPA AND H.R.P.P DELIBERATELY CREATED THIS ERROR WITH THE S.S.L.C RESULTS TO RAISE REVENUE FOR THEMSELVES? After all, they are desperate and Samoa has gone broke under corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s leadership!

This is why I’ve been calling relentlessly for corrupt PM Tuilaepa and all the H.R.P.P thugs (past and present) to be investigated and must step down as they are corrupt and unfit to run this nation.

At the end of all this discussion in Parliament, nothing came out of it except that the parents are still owed $50 for being charged with M.E.S.C’s error; we still lack teachers and resources; overcrowded classrooms deny students good quality education;  the Education system is incompetent, amateurish and not trustworthy among many more under corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s leadership.

Before this year is up, we will hear more disappointing stories from the parents and more excuses from the Ministry of Education.

Wake up Samoa to what these corrupt fools are doing to you? It’s an insult! Not only are we now paying for all of corrupt PM Tuilaepa and H.R.P.P’s failed projects, $1.7+ Billion loan and corruption, the people of this nation are now made to pay for all their errors and still the public are denied their Rights to have a say on how the govt should function!

All the lies and excuses this faavalevalea H.R.P.P govt churns out, are all too predictable and they’re nothing but a bunch of great pretenders. Ua ova le kaufaavalea, le gaoi ma le kala pepelo.

Christianity and Corruption in Samoa ...

26/1/2017

PictureCorrupt PM Tuilaepa setting a good example of how to be a Christian in Church.
Corrupt PM Tuilaepa is sniffing around hard core for brownie points from the public - so he came up with this idea of passing a law to make Samoa a Christian State. Samoa is already a Christian nation. Not only is it mentioned in the Preamble of the Constitution, 99.99% of Samoan people are Christians. There is also no threat from non-Christian religions to Christianity here in Samoa. There have also been no religious wars in Samoa – there never were any in the past, none happening today and never will there be any in the future.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa only came up with this to divert the attention of the people away from his corrupt Land and Titles Registration (LTRA) 2008 law that is a threat to the customary lands of Aiga Potopoto and the numerous social problems the people are facing today. Such social problems include the high unemployment rate and lack of employment opportunities; education failure; poor health service; poverty;  high cost of living; money laundering and the Mossack Fonseca/Panama Papers scandal;
the crumbling infrastructure and potholes;  failed projects;  $1.7+ Billion loan that Samoa cannot afford to pay; the OPC report that is yet to be tabled; and the corruption within his govt that is thriving, etc.

At  the celebration of our 50th Independence,   Corrupt PM Tuilaepa had his Chinese VIP guests from China. As his guests were communists, there was no service (lotu) for that celebration and there was no mention of Jesus or God.  Corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s guests happened to be the Beijing Zhao Yi Li Investment Management Co. Ltd., from China who delivered their ‘list of Chinese demands’ to corrupt PM Tuilaepa.  Included in that list was the demand to lease  lands for 160 years hence LTRA 2008. He’s a hypocrite, a traitor, a compulsive liar, a con man, a narcissist and a sociopath.

All the Bills that corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP have passed and are trying to pass have nothing to do with improving the welfare of the people of this nation but all to do with removing the Rights of the people in order to make HRPP more powerful to hijack and  dictate this nation.

He is sick in the head and you’d have to be a fool to not see what he’s doing. He is not even a Christian. He sleeps in Church. He only goes to church to make an appearance to fool the people and take a nap there after gambling all night.

There’s nothing Christian about him and his corrupt HRPP committing corruption against the people and violating the Rights of the people in the process.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa should focus more on developing Samoa economically. Ua ova le kala pepelo ma le kaufaavalea o lea corrupt Ass. Ga o vale aivalea koe leaga ulu ia e kaumulimuli solo ai i lea ulu leaga.

Give Unto EFKS what is EFKS's and Unto Catholic what is Catholic's...

PictureRev. Opapo Soanai recently stripped of his pastoral duties. Inset: the stolen statue of Mary. (Photo credit/article: Samoa Observer)

Rev Opapo should've listened to the EFKS elders but no one is stopping him from converting to Catholicism if he wants to - just like no one stopped his daughter from converting. It's his choice. If the EFKS does not allow statues of Mary or Jesus in their churches, then so be it as they have their own belief for not allowing them in there. The EFKS does not push its belief/issue on to the Catholic Church so why should the Catholic Church push theirs on to the EFKS?

Then you have some fools questioning the elders decision to step Rev Opapo down over a statue. If it was only a statue, then what the heck is it doing in the EFKS church?

This is how the EFKS see Jesus - FAITH IN JESUS IS A BELIEF YOU CANNOT SEE AND THE REWARD OF THAT FAITH IS TO SEE WHAT YOU BELIEVE. So there is no need for the EFKS to look at statues to confirm their faith in Jesus. It's either you believe in Him or you don't.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for those 40+ messages from the stigmata. It's the right of every citizen in Samoa to know the Truth about the stigmata's whereabouts,  after all it was the tax payers money that funded her trip to the Vatican which included her family and a HRPP MP. Now it has become a public interest.

It is written in Exodus 20:3-5, "3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above; or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth: 5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them..."

I couldn't stop laughing however at how the drunk took off with the statue when every one else was debating how to remove it from within the Siufaga EFKS church. I'm pretty sure God will bless the drunken man and punish those who charged him and locked him up - as the drunken man was created in the image of God and the statue was created out of clay. lol lol lol

Father Blast Hospital and Dr Death's Undignifying Policy....

PictureTHE RECREATION ROOM: A couch one of the mothers is sleeping on and a quilt on the floor used by Mr. Sanft’s daughter for a bed.

While our HRPP MPs send themselves and their wives to overseas to give birth to their babies and receive first class treatment in flashy hospitals at the expense of the tax payers, our very own Samoan mothers and children are being treated like dogs in this hospital.

According to the article, "Mr Haine Sanft is questioning why mothers who just gave birth, should sleep on couches and the floor in a small Recreation Room when there are beds available. The Recreation Room does not have beds and despite more than 10 unused beds in other rooms of the Ward, the staff are adamant they cannot to be used."

What sort of hospital that has a policy where women who just gave birth to their babies are sent to the Recreation Room to sleep on couches and on the floor instead of being given a bed in the wards as expected and for health reasons?

I say it's disgraceful and disgusting. I also say good on Mr Sanft for speaking out and for questioning the appalling treatment of his daughter and other mothers in this hospital.

I was very critical with this hospital when it was first built – I called it a waste of money and the incidents  unfolding in this hospital today have proven me right.  The govt spent $90 Million of tax payers' money to build it. A patient cannot be treated well in it. There were women who had their babies who died mysterious deaths in this hospital not to mention the many patients who also died from mysterious deaths. A patient is admitted for a minor ailment and not long after the family gets notified that the cause of death is ‘mysterious!’  All you hear from this hospital when patients have died is Mysterious Death, mysterious death and more mysterious death.

I am not going to criticize doctors and nurses here and the staff as they are already over worked with limited resources and under paid. I look straight at PM Tuilaepa and his HRPP govt, especially Dr Death, Health Minister MP Tuitama. Where the heck is he? Why is he always hiding when the people question this hospital? Given the number of mysterious deaths and negligence under his watch, it’s enough to warrant him to step down.

The reason why they are not using the other beds and for the poor service in this hospital is due to the lack of funds and it being under -resourced.
What’s the point of having a $90 Million hospital when the quality of the service it renders is so poor? The people are demanding for what they deserve - good quality service and for their loved ones to be treated with respect and dignity within this medical facility – not like trash in a stupid under resourced hospital that has turned into a morgue.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa has a hidden agenda for this hospital. He built the hospital for foreigners – especially for the 30,000 Chinese he plans to bring in to Samoa.
I won’t even send my dog to give birth in this stupid hospital – it’s a murderous facility. Even corrupt PM Tuilaepa himself knows the Truth and does not trust it hence why he took a medivac to NZ  hospital to tend to a little scratch on his toe!

Corrupt HRPP Revenue Raise to Rob the Public...

PictureCorrupt HRPP MP Tialavea Tionisio Hunt, Minister of Revenue
Corrupt MP Tialavea, how dare you consider raising revenue from the people after you, corrupt PM Tuilaepa and the HRPP corrupt goons have stolen $100s of Millions per annum from the people? And stop using the welfare of the people as an excuse because any increase on the cost of living/VAGST/taxes on top of the current cost of living will further destroy and deteriorate the welfare of the people.  Even the $1.7+ Billion loan did not elevate the welfare of the people – instead it lowered their quality of life, pushed them into poverty and forced them to be enslaved against their will!

This is a sign of a govt desperate for money as it has gone broke. I warned this govt many moons ago that their reckless behavior in the way they abuse, misspend and misappropriate tax payers money plus their corruption will have dire consequences. Now MP Tialavea, one of the most corrupt MPs in HRPP, is now talking about consultations with the public  and said “ it is the duty and responsibility of the Ministry of Revenue to always look for new revenue sources to fund development projects that will raise the welfare of our people.  Everyone regardless must contribute a fair share to the development of our country.”

Let me remind you MP Tialavea - The people of this nation (including Samoans overseas, the child street vendors, faakau sea, farmer, the poor, the sick and the weak) have contributed much more than their fair share to the development of this nation - much more than they can afford. As a matter of fact, they’re contributing much much more than HRPP itself.
So what is HRPP contributing apart from eating and stealing the wealth of this nation?

The cost of living is right up to their throats And how the heck is MP Tialavea and HRPP are going to add more taxes on the people when the wages are at $2.30 Tala per hour? They can hardly make ends meet with what they earn.

The cost of living right now in Samoa is 10 times more expensive than any other country in the world. This high cost of living plus Poverty, Crime rate and the high unemployment rate are increasing due to govt corruption. Now this corrupt foolish MP, corrupt PM Tuilaepa and their goons are turning to the public for more revenue to pay off their 30 years of corruption which is still continuing today! You’d have to be a dumb citizen to allow this to happen.

But here’s a solution for you,  you fools, on how to raise more revenue for the govt – instead of you dumb fools hitting the poor, the sick and the weak for more revenue, you have to hit the rich of our society to narrow the gap between the poor and the rich.

Every Samoan that earns below $5000 - should be tax free.

Those earning between $5000 - $15,000 -  apply the minimum tax.

Every Samoan that earns between $30,000 - $50,000 per annum tax them higher than those earning less than $15,000.

Those who earn $50,000  - $70,000 per annum tax them a little bit higher than those in the $30,000 - $50,000 bracket.

Those who earn $70,000 up to $100,000, tax them higher than the rest.

Every $1 Tala earned after $100,000 tax it at  .48sene on top of the tax that is already applied to the $100,000 bracket. This also applies to corrupt PM Tuilaepa and all the MPs in govt.

You do the same thing with businesses.  This way, not only will you raise revenue for the govt, but it will also help slow the pace of the  social problems the people are facing today and narrow the rich/poor gap.  For you to hit the poor, the sick and the weak to pay for the corrupt debt this govt incurred, is like you trying to squeeze water out of a rock. It will only create more problems for both the people and the govt.

But the real solution to this whole problem is to have corrupt PM Tuilaepa and all the corrupt MPs to be charged and prosecuted and locked up in jail for their crimes of fraud and corruption against the nation. Also confiscate all their assets which they got from ill gotten gains and return it to the people to help pay off the $1.7+ Billion debt. Until that happens, Samoa will never be able to solve it’s economical problem that is getting worse and deteriorating each year.

I have warned the people of Samoa including the blind goons who support this govt about this govt’s corruption - they and their children will pay for it while the govt and their children live a life of luxury.

O la’u kala ia oe Tialavea – aua e ke amio valea. O oe lesi lea ua leva ga e gaoi i kupe a taxpayers. Aua e ke sau faavalea kagaka e le valea uma kagaka o Samoa. Koekiki ou alu aku kalepe ou guku lou mea aivalea.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa's $100 Million Potholes...

18/1/2017

PicturePotholes at the end of the road at Vaitele
The road problem here in Samoa is not a new issue under HRPP and corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s leadership. I’ve written letters in the past about the corrupt deals between corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his HRPP members who are associated with the road contractors. The only genuine company that is fixing the roads properly are the Otts.  Their contracts come directly from Asia Development Bank (ADB) – the rest of the contractors are associates of corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP and they are shonky.  HRPP used them for boomerang deals.

The govt tells the people that they’re building a road worth $20 Million. They spend a couple of $Millions and the rest of the money goes back into the pockets of the  govt members  and the MPs who are associated with these shonky contractors. Now it’s come back to haunt corrupt PM Tuilaepa.

Every time the public raise their concerns about the states of our roads, corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his goons deny the problem. They then  take a picture of the road at Vaitele, which was built by the Otts, and post it up to fool the tourists and the Samoans living overseas yet the people living here in Samoa know the Truth - but corrupt PM Tuilaepa does not care because he suffers from a mental illness called compulsive and habitual lying.

Here’s a picture of the potholes at one end of the Vaitele road and only in Samoa you’d find multiple potholes like these – you cannot avoid them. These potholes however are nothing compared to the other potholes found on our roads thru out the country. Some potholes are big enough for you to dive in for a swim. Lol lol lol.

Were these potholes one of the reasons behind corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s decision to change the year of the imported vehicles to Samoa because he knows there’s no money to rebuild these roads properly?

To buy a new car anywhere around the world, it will last you up to 20  - 30 years. You buy a brand new car here in Samoa, after 4 – 5 years, your car will be needing spare parts. Not only is the public paying  for  low quality fuel at the pump, they have to endure the potholes!

Now we have a $1.7+ Billion debt.  I predicted that our debt this year will be way over the $2 Billion mark. So where is the HRPP going to get the money now to fix these roads? Watch corrupt PM Tuilaepa come back with the biggest lie to fool the people and blame the media again. Well, this picture is not from the media.

I’ve been saying this many times before that corrupt PM Tuilaepa has been fooling the country for 10s of years and has been running this country with a blank cheque. Now it’s hitting everyone’s pockets here in Samoa especially those living overseas.  Corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP are yet to build those bridges that were damaged by Cyclone Evans.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa must step down now.  MP Papali’i Niko Lee Hang must be appointed as the new Prime Minister of Samoa to fix corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s mess and to clean up the corruption within this govt which is long overdue. Enough is enough.

H.R.P.P - Stop the Violation of Children's Rights...

11/1/2017

PictureChild Street Vendor sleeping out on the streets late at night (Photo credit: Samoa Observer)
I have a lot of respect for the views expressed by  MP Lautafi Purcell’s family members on social media forums  but after reading MP Lautafi’s comments about street vendors, he’s slowly becoming an idiot. He sounds just like corrupt PM Tuilaepa – dishing out corrupt political talk and refusing to take ownership of their part of the problem.

He said it’s wrong for the people to accuse the govt of doing nothing as the govt is doing something about it. Let me remind you MP Lautafi, your employer a.k.a the taxpayers/people have every right to raise a concern whenever there's a problem and govt rather than being defensive, need to take ownership and responsibiltiy for their share of the problem. This child vendor issue  has been discussed for 10s of years by the people and I warned the govt then that this problem will get worse – and so it has.

The people of Samoa are getting sick and tired of these MPs who politicize and intellectualize the problem instead of addressing and fixing the problem.  Everything MP Lautafi said here, he might as well tell the people that the govt is not going to do anything about it, as they find it impossible to do something about it, as they don’t have a real solution to the problem. He made it sound like the problem was so complicated.

He went as far in his cover up by comparing Samoa to countries overseas. Those countries overseas have strong laws in place to protect children who are out on the streets delivering newspapers and they take utmost responsibility for the welfare of their children, by removing  them on the spot when in danger of abuse from parents or the community – poor comparison MP Lautafi.

We are not countries overseas – we are Samoa talking about problems within Samoa. We are not just talking about these kids selling goods – we’re talking about the violence and the new breeds of criminals in our country. You’re only looking at MCIL laws to try and do something about it. You need to look at the Child Protection Act, International Child Protection Acts, the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child 2016, Unicef and Samoa Report 2006, etc.
Do some research!

MP Lautafi, you quoted the Labour and Employment Relations Act 2013, Section 51 in your statement. Under  (1) a person must not employ a child under the age of 15 years of age in a place of employment except in safe and light work suited to his or her capacity, and subject to such conditions as may be determined by the C.E.O.

and (2) A person must not employ a child under the age of 18 years on dangerous machinery or in any occupation or in any place under working conditions injurious or likely to be injurious to the physical or moral health of such child.

MP Lautafi and the Ministry of Women, Community and Social Development, why haven’t you/govt acted in favor of the child vendor yet? These children are working in conditions that are deemed not safe and are injurious to both their physical and moral health. They are being exploited by scrupulous wholesalers/retailers who 'employed' them; they are not attending school; picking up poor lifestyle habits from the streets (violence/alcoholism/smoking etc); staying out late; lack sleep; developing poor personal hygiene etc. They are also subjected to emotional trauma from the verbal abused hurled at them, are physically assaulted and not to mention they are easy targets sexual abuse and exploitation. These negative aspects have a long lasting ill effect on children.

Some of these kids are as young as 8 and there was a 3 year old selling not long ago too. Any kid who sells goods on the streets during school hours is a victim of child abuse. Any kid of the age of 15 and under  wondering in the streets unsupervised even late at night is a victim of child abuse. This child abuse is committed upon these children by the parents, the community and the worse culprit of all is the government. This is called the system abuse.

The govt has the power to remove these kids from their parents and place them in a safe and secure environment until the parents can prove to the govt thru the courts that they are fit to look after their kids before their children are returned to them.

This corrupt govt and the fools that support them always blame the parents but they need to realize that these children are the children of the State. If the parents neglect or abuse their children in any form, the govt has a responibility and all the powers in the world to remove the child and place them in their care. As for the unscrupulous wholesalers/retailers who exploit these children to sell on their behalf, you need to come down hard on them - give them hefty fines or lock them up! So MP Lautafi, do what I just told you to do and there’d be no more street vendors.

If corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his govt cannot deal with this simplest of problems in our society, what chance do they have dealing with all the other problems concerning the country today? This is why I’ve been calling for corrupt PM Tuilaepa and this govt to step down – they are nothing but a bunch of corrupt fools who have run out of ideas and don’t know what they are doing. MP Lautafi has repeated what other MP’s before  him  had said yet the problem is still here. Ova le aivalea o gei MP.

The Child Street Vendor issue warrants a much more serious consideration by govt and MWSCD than what they have done so far – lip service and no action!

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP need to Stop Govt corruption and create jobs for the parents instead to help alleviate this problem!

Courageous MP Faumuina W. Fong Tackle Street Vendor Issue...

10/1/2017

PictureMember of Parliament for Urban West, Faumuina Wayne Fong (Photo credit: Samoa Observer)
The Member of Parliament for Urban West, Faumuina Wayne Fong, appears to me to be a new MP who wants to make a change for the betterment of Samoa.

After reading MP Faumuina’s  view on what he believes needs to be  done in regards to street vendors, it was obvious that this long overdue issue needed addressing and needed to be fixed. It’s about time Samoa has a MP from HRPP that is honest with his opinion – he’s a rare breed of MP from this govt and let’s hope a few more have the courage and the guts to follow suit.

This is exactly the type of MP Samoa needs more of today – honest in his opinion and views about the social problems Samoa is facing on a daily basis. It shows he cares enough about the  people of this nation and he’s listening to them too.

This street vendor problem started under corrupt PM Tuilaepa’s leadership and HRPP and it has been in Samoa for 10’s of years but it’s getting worse. Every time a MP comments about it, it’s either they politicize the problem or intellectualize this problem but they never addressed the actual problem in order to find a solution for it.

It’s not hard to solve this street vendor problem. The govt, the Police, the Education Dept., Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) and the parents of these street vendors need to sit down together and discuss the law and remind themselves what their collective responsibilities are when it comes to street vendors.

Before they go as far as passing laws,  the govt need to investigate  the wholesalers/retailers who are behind the scenes, ‘employing’ and supplying the goods to the street vendors to sell, and issue them with hefty fines.

The revenue raised from these fines should go straight to charity or a Non Govt Organization to help the victims of abuse.

But for now, the govt need to issue a curfew for these young people to be off the streets and no one under the age of 16 should be roaming or loitering around town on their own after 9:00 PM unless they are accompanied by an adult.

When this issue was discussed a couple of years ago, corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his HRPP govt lied to the people by saying that they already had existing laws to regulate street vendors and he had already advised the Police and the Education Dept to remove vendors from the streets during school hours and late at night. This was just before the SIDS forum was held here.  Now the Acting Police Commissioner  has admitted that there are no such laws and his admission contradicted what corrupt PM Tuilaepa said back then! That too has confirmed what I’ve been saying all along that corrupt PM Tuilaepa suffer’s from amnesia and Alzeihmers and he needs to see a psychiatrist – I’m not joking.

Corrupt PM Tuilaepa needs to step down – he lies too much. People are sick of being lied to and he’s mentally sick.

LTRA 2008 and Customary Lands - Economic Growth for Who?...

This Land Act,  LTRA 2008, will not work in Samoa. This is the same land Act that Australia and NZ used to remove the rights of the Aboriginals and Maoris to their lands and the excuse Australia used was that it was for ECONOMIC GROWTH. It’s the same rubbish excuse corrupt PM Tuilaepa is using too. The question is, ECONOMIC GROWTH FOR WHO?

Statistically speaking, most Maoris in NZ are living below the poverty line but it’s even worse for the Aborigines who  are living below the poverty line too in Australia and are kept in the bush –  out of sight, out of mind and they are doing it worse than the Maoris. However, the white man in both these countries are living in luxury - some have become Billionaires from mining and farming on these lands and pay no penny to the indigenous people who once owned the lands of these countries.

Under this Torrens System/LTRA 2008, Samoa too will become worse off. It’s alright for these fools, (including corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his HRPP  who don’t even understand the interpretation of the Act let alone the ramifications of this Act),  to protect this corrupt land Act thinking it will benefit anyone in Samoa (just like how the Maoris and the Aborigines once thought).  The Truth is, it will only benefit foreign countries, corporate companies, banks and  Samoa’s  corrupt govt especially those to whom this corrupt govt owes money to.

The biggest question Aivalea corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP and the people of this nation need to ask is, WHERE DO THE WOMEN OF THIS NATION STAND WITH THIS LTRA 2008 LAND ACT KNOWING THAT 99% OF THE PARAMOUNT TITLE HOLDERS AND SA’O O AIGA ARE MEN?   That means 99% of the customary lands  once registered will be owned by men!

Then we have some stupid lawyers/MNRE Public Servant who’re working for the govt asking,  WHEREABOUTS IN THE LTRA2008 DOES IT SAY THAT CUSTOMARY LANDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ACT? The fool went on to accuse the people standing up for their Rights and against this unconstitutional  LTRA2008 of not being lawyers therefore had no right to question nor challenge the Land Act let alone stand up for their rights to protect their familial customary lands.

My question to all these lawyers in Samoa, HOW COME YOU DIDN’T KNOW THAT THE CUSTOMARY LANDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ACT? This to me is an indication that all your law degrees collectively are fake, nepotism and cronyism got fools a job in the public service and you don’t know anything.

This was the same Law used in Papua New Guinea to remove the rights of their indigenous people from their customary lands so Australia and Indonesia could mine, cut their forests for timber and  for commercial farming etc.   This  generated $Billions into Australia and Indonesia’s economies while the Papua New Guineans are living in poverty, are tortured, slaughtered and displaced  on a daily basis. 500,000+ so far have been murdered already by the Indonesians for money and customary lands  because of the same law as LTRA 2008. This too will be the fate of the people of Samoa one day soon.

The HRPP govt have spent $100 Millions on foreign legal fees especially on the Australian lawyers and backed by the Australian Govt and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). They used the slogan ‘Promoting the Economic Use of Customary Lands.’  On paper, when corrupt PM Tuilaepa and his band of dumb A$$ lawyers read it it looks good but in the eyes of the educated, it’s daylight robbery of customary lands by the Samoan govt, foreign countries and banks.

Obviously the Samoan lawyers have no idea about the Law reform designed by Australia regarding Customary Lands which include customary lands of Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Samoa. This was planned by banks and foreign countries including NZ from way back. Now they’ve chosen corrupt PM Tuilaepa to carry out the assault on the people of this nation. This is why these foreign countries are silent about the corruption committed by corrupt PM Tuilaepa and HRPP against the people of Samoa – just like how they’ve gone deaf to the screams and cries for help of the Papua New Guineans.

Right now the Australian and NZ Govts are in negotiations with China about Samoa’s Customary Lands. They are doing this favor for the Chinese to help improve their economic ties which will benefit both Australia and NZ ae o Samoa e faasasaga i le makafaga. This is exactly why Fiji’s PM Banimarama want Australia and NZ out of the Pacific Forums. America has already warned NZ and soon they will cut ties with Australia if they keep it up. As a matter of fact, President Elect Donald Trump is already talking about it and corrupt PM Tuilaepa will soon receive a threat from the Don. Lol lol lol
